The Raja Saab (2026) – Short Review
The Raja Saab is a big-budget horror-comedy entertainer directed by Maruthi Dasari, starring Prabhas alongside Sanjay Dutt and Nidhhi Agerwal.
The story follows a young heir who embraces his royal legacy while uncovering supernatural secrets tied to his family’s past. Blending horror, comedy, romance, and action, the film aims to deliver a mass entertainer with a unique genre mix.
Visually, the film is grand with high production value, lavish sets, and strong VFX. Prabhas brings charm and screen presence, especially in lighter, humorous moments. The mix of comedy and horror gives the film a different flavor compared to typical action movies.
However, the biggest drawback is the weak screenplay and inconsistent pacing. The story feels stretched and sometimes confusing, with too many elements packed together. While the first half has some engaging moments, the second half struggles to maintain impact.
Verdict: A visually rich and experimental horror-comedy with star power—but uneven storytelling makes it a mixed experience.
