Raid 2 (2025) – Short Review
Raid 2 is a gripping sequel to Raid (2018), directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and starring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, and Vaani Kapoor.
The film follows IRS officer Amay Patnaik as he returns for another high-stakes mission—his 75th raid—targeting a powerful and corrupt figure involved in massive financial crimes.
It dives deep into white-collar crime, corruption, and political power struggles, keeping the tension high throughout.
Ajay Devgn once again delivers a strong, calm, and intense performance, while Riteish Deshmukh stands out as a smart and dangerous antagonist. The face-off between the two is one of the film’s highlights.
The movie keeps a serious tone and realistic approach, but at times it feels similar to the first part and slightly predictable.
Verdict: A solid and engaging crime thriller with powerful performances—great for fans of investigative dramas, though not as fresh as the original.
